Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern your access to and use of Daybreak (daybreak.silverday.de), operated by Klaus-E. Klingner / SilverDay Media ("we", "us"). By accessing Daybreak you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Daybreak is a personal security-news aggregator. It collects publicly available article headlines and short feed-provided summaries from third-party sources and displays them in a single interface. We do not store or republish full article content. Registered users may customise which sources they follow and suggest new sources for admin review.
3. Accounts
You may register a free account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Daybreak in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or index the service by automated means beyond normal browser use.
- Suggest sources that promote illegal content, hate speech, or malware.
5. Third-party content
All article links, titles, and summaries are sourced from third-party feeds. We do not control, verify, or endorse this content. We are not liable for its accuracy, legality, or availability. Clicking any outbound link takes you to a third-party site governed by that site's own terms and policies.
6. Availability
Daybreak is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees of uptime, completeness, or timeliness of aggregated content. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SilverDay Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Daybreak or from third-party content linked through it.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany.
Note: This is a draft placeholder. Final terms should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before public launch.
